Incredible!

. . . i feel like i owe this blog another post :-} i have been busy -- so that is my *cough* wonderful excuse for not writing in awhile . . . but now i am home. and not busy. so well, here we go :-] and yes, this time i shall share some wonderful news, which only recently has become public information . . .

let me introduce . . .

Eric Byler

. . . yes, for real, i am dating this amazing guy -- !! :-} and i figured it was about time i shared this news on my blog. if i could describe our relationship in one word -- it would be incredible! it all started back on a slushy, mild night in December -- where him and i went out -- and over steaming cups of lattes -- discussed our relationship . . . and from there it progressed to the here and now -- :-}

i saw him a lot in the month of june . . . a lot. a lot. which was incredible. amazing. wonderful. mom, kayla, and i flew down for kayla's graduation -- beginning of june. we spent a week in toronto . . . pictures say a thousand words -- so i shall leave a few of them -- to really show just how wonderful my time down there was . . .

an evening spent downtown Toronto . . .

eric had to do some of his parkour --

one of his moves was to jump over the bench

and land beside me ;-]

another morning --

we had a picnic,

in a beautiful park . . .

the afternoon . . .

was spent down at the lake.

he met me at the airport with!

yes, i am spoiled :-)

a day spent in china town . . .

with my cousins.

and then . . .

a week and a half later,

my family took our vacation --

to southern ontario . . .

eric came out quite a bit,

since it was a few hours from toronto!

we played in a volleyball tourny . . .

another day was spent --

hanging out in waterloo . . .

watching hockey.

a walk by the river.

parkour.

shopping.

sushi.

our last weekend together . . .

he came out to our church camping.

and then the goodbyes were said. and i began my long journey home. 1000 miles north of him. distance is hard. but i am blessed. God is incredible. He works in such amazing ways. as a quote i like says, we are apart in distance -- but never in heart.
