. . . time is flying by . . .
And I know a post is due, or wait, should I say OVER-DO? I realize it has been a long time since I've sat down to create a post on this blog. But, let me say, I've had excuses :-) In September, the one and only brother, and myself, took the twenty-hour trip to PA. I did not return home until nearly two months later. And well he . . . is still down there!
I had a wonderful, yes, WONDERFUL time at SMBI -- a Bible school nestled in the beautiful mountains of PA. Okay, yes, it truly is beautiful in those parts of the country! But nothing is quite like my beautiful northern home :-) So, a few pictures of Bible school coming up. NOTE: I said a few, I could post oodles and oodles, but well, there are too many oodles that it would bore you quickly, so, I'll stick with a small number of pictures to describe my awesome time at SMBI:
Sharilee -- my wonderful friend!
Becca! I miss her.

Love these girls!
Banquet ;-)
This lady was such a dear!
So fun to hang out with Cynthia one day!
And then my brother came to see me one weekend!
And these awesome people!
And these lovelies ;-)
It was the weekend for visitors!
And I got to hang out with AMY!
And from SMBI it was on to my post-term ministry placement in Shendandoah. I loved this place and I loved the people! We did children's ministry, widow visitation, door-to-door evangelism, a tea party for the community girls, and work projects. I loved it! Just a few pictures from my time there:
Children's club!
He came to see me here too!
Out for supper!
Love this girl.
Watching my brother play hockey.
Tea Party!
And THEN! I got to see my sweetheart after too many weeks without each other! Ooh, it was a very, very happy day ;-) And we had a wonderful time being a part of Doyle and Teresa's wedding!

A fun 20-hour drive home!
Which consisted of . . .
A stop at Niagara Falls at 2 a.m.
Breakfast in Mackinaw City
A lighthouse in St. Ignace
And running on the beaches of the Great Lakes
Keys locked in the car (I'll take the blame for that ;-))
And then the weekend I got home these lovely friends made the 20-hour drive to come see me and my sisters! What a fun time . . .
A spur-of-the-moment shopping trip to Winnipeg.
Photo-shoots
Supper at the Greek Restaurant
(Thanks to my wonderful boyfriend buying for us ALL!)
Enjoying Kenora's Harbour Front in the FREEZING cold!
And then a visit from my boyfriend!
Well friends, this brings me to the end of this blog post. I realize it got longer than I was expecting. But well, when there's months upon months of blogging to catch up with, I guess I shouldn't expect it to be short :-) Anyways, I hope you're enjoying the start of winter! We have a snow-covered yard, negative temperatures, and a cold, windy, cloudy day . . . but a warm house so I shan't complain :-)
Happy winter!
