Our Wedding Day

I know it's high time I post some pictures from our special, special day. And now that I'm feeling much more settled into my little home, I thought it was about time :-) It was a beautiful day. A few sprinkles in the morning -- but otherwise, the sun was shining. One thing that kept hitting me was, "All [minus a few] my favourite people are here, all in one place!" It felt a bit overwhelming -- they all came for ... US?! Wow. I was so blessed by the friends & family who drove from near & far to witness us become one. And it was so fun to see everyone -- even though it felt in many ways so short. And so, here are the pictures:

and now . . .
i'm married to my best friend . . .
the one who understands me better than i understand myself some days . . .
the one who treats me like a queen . . .
the one makes my heart beat . . .
the one who leads our home so well . . .
the one full of love & surprises . . .
the one who lets me cry in his arms . . .
the one who laughs hysterically with me so often . . .
the one whom i love SO much . . .

yes, he's MY husband!
and i am so very, very blessed.

and then we said goodbye . . .
and zipped off to our honeymoon in the rockies ;-)

and as i bring this post to an end, the one thing i am the most thankful for is my Heavenly Father, who made it possible for two hearts to join together as one . . . it is only because of Him that such JOY can exist and i give him the honour and glory for our beautiful wedding day . . . i'm so thankful I can call Him my very BEST FRIEND of all! and like we sang as a congregation on our wedding day, "Majesty, worship our Majesty" -- that's what it's all about. I'm here to worship my King until He calls me home . . . and i'm so thankful to Him for bringing two lives & hearts together to be one. Thank you, Jesus!
