Ooh Summer . . .

. . . where have you gone?!

Summer has come . . . and gone so quickly. I can hardly believe we are in our last few days of August already. But this is how it always is, right? Summer goes by way to quickly. But I honestly don't feel like I've slowed down a bit since Israel in May! And I can hardly think of one free weekend between then and now either! 

And rather than tell you all about this business -- I'll post some pictures from my highlight from the summer :-}

And we were happily reunited again after Haiti!

A Sunday church service at our house --

That ended with a hike at Rushing River.

 An evening spent in town with my favourite girls!

The first weekend in August was our missions . . .

Family Camp and Gospel Sing.

Eric was up for that ... 

And part-way through the weekend we went back to his place --

For a Byler Family Reunion.

Mini Golf :-)

My great Uncle Melvin and his wife Amy did a seminar in the jail . . .

Along with Jake Penner.

I fried some of their catch up -- fresh!

And then we had a graduation party for this gorgeous sis of mine!

 

 . . . and decided to make a weekend of it . . .

Starting Thursday night with friends!

...where fishing in the rain happened...

Friday Eric and his family came.

And we played some mini-golf :-)

Amongst other activities . . .

She rocks! ;-)

. . . and so does he ;-)

Then we had Kayla's grad party Saturday night . . .

And a bigger crew came to celebrate!

(I had fun making her cake :-))

 Then it was down to Minnesota the next weekend . . .

To camp with Eric and his siblings . . .

Along with Nicole and Natasha . . .

And Teresa and her sisters . . .

Who is marrying ERIC'S brother is a few months! :-)

 And from camping it was straight to a week of FOCIS family camp.

In Virginia, Minnesota.

 I have awesome cousins :-)

 I taught the girls adolescent class all week.

With the help of my lovely friend, Carmela.
And Eric taught the guys.

We had fun doing activities together :-)

And that, my friends, brings me to the end of this post . . . in a few short weeks I leave for Bible school in the States . . . and until them, I'll enjoy the last few days of summer :-)
